BabyNet

BabyNet is South Carolina’s early intervention system for infants and toddlers ages 0 - 3 with developmental delays, or who have conditions associated with developmental delays.

All current Medicaid services are included in BabyNet. All emails for the South Carolina BabyNet program with Healthy Connections should be sent directly to BabyNet@scdhhs.gov.

Enrollment

In addition to enrolling as a Healthy Blue provider, you must also enroll as a BabyNet provider through the South Carolina Department of Health and human Services (SCDHHS).

Authorization Process

Services included in the BabyNet program require prior authorization (PA). You must call Healthy Blue to create a case and request the PA. 

Use the following two forms to begin the process: 

• Universal BabyNet Prior Authorization Form
• Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Form
